Transmission Identification

I have a 2002 Explorer XLT. The v6 4 liter. How can I identify which transmission is in it. I'm trying to buy a transmission filter kit but everywhere I go there are 3 versions for 3 different transmissions for my engine.

Welcome to this forum! Do you have a 2WD or a 4WD? Do you have the 2 door or the 4 door? You could get a filter from WWW.TransmissionPartsUSA.Com. The sticker on the side of your driver's door should have your transmission code.
