Hello guys,

I have noticed this 3 times in the last couple months.
When going from park to reverse, truck started to shutter, like tranny engaging and disengaging, this same thing also happened when going from reverse into Overdrive.

I also had spteeped on it to pass someone at 60mph and the truck nearly redlined and when I took foot of gas, RPM came down to around 3000 and then a light bang and tranny engaged.....

Above are the three thigns that have happened, other than that tranny seems to shift fine and works great...Just the three episodes that have happened over the past 2 months..

I checked tranny fluid level and it is good, and have also had tranny fluid changed about 5000KM ago??

Any suggestions??? Is it a clogged valve body part??? any ideas guys, tranny gods???

Please let me know what I should look at....

What does the tranny fluid itself look like? A bright reddish color or a dark brown color? Having enough fluid is a must, but so is having fluid in good condition.

As far as anything else, I'm not sure... but wait a little while, and as the guys slack off at work and come here, they'll post some suggestions, lol.

color of fluid looks fine....reddish color doesnt look burnt at all....I will await some more answers...

When was the last time you had the trans flushed? The fluid might look fine on the dipstick but when it is flushed you can really see how bad the fluid really is. When you had the fluid changed did they change the filter or was just a flush performed? Sounds to me you have a intermittent pressure loss. This could be caused by a plugged filter or some gunk stuck in the valve body.

Yes, when I had the fluid changed they did not fluch, but did however change the filter...But as you suggest myabe there is some grot or junk stuck in filter now or in valving.....I guess the best thign to do is take it in for another servicing?

As I said it has only happened the few times over the last couple months, so it seems like something may be getting stuck periodically....

I will await others answers here also....

Any other suggestions anyone?

Thanks for your guys help so far.
