Transmission problem

I have a 94 LTD, and a couple months ago. I had to push the gas a couple of time before the first gear engage. But once it does, everything was fine even it i stop it's ok(as long as I don't put it to P,R, or N)
And for no reason it didn't engage the first gear at all..
only the reverse still work.
I had my transmission rebuilt last year..and I put less then 20000 miles on it..
Anybody can help me???

I am no transmission specialist, but there are a few people on here whose threads I have read and they really know what they are talking about. I am sure one of them will respond to your post. IMO, I do know how tranny's work, and it sounds like you may have a valve body problem. I would take it back to the tranny shop that did the work and have them take a look. Hope this helps.
