Transmission prolblems

ok this has peen happining for a while now under hard acelleration it will jerk like it shifted but it stays in first gear also when slowing down either on a steep hill or after going faster when in overdrive the rems will remain around 1000 then drop around 300 then back up this happens quickly and pretty smooth the lights dim and teh steering sometimes gats hard the car has 78000 ford changed the transmission fluid at 58k and had overfilled it a good 2 quarts i got the car took it back at arond 70000 they drained the fluid that they had overfilled but said that it was not there fault could this have caused any damage

ok here is an update it was right at the bottom of the cross hatched area so i added a little bit of fluid teh car now feels like it has more torque and accelerates better the only prolblem left is the down hill prolblem
