Transmission swapped and still won't engage in the gears

Any clue where I can get them? I figure that I might as well get 2 of them and fix the other transmission too. Is there a way to check if the torque converter is still good?

Replace the small seal on the input shaft, the front seal, gaskets, the O rings, and flat seals on the bolts. Don't touch the bushing. This should only be done with a special lathe. There are only 2 places that I'm aware of which do this kind of service. The A4LD pump gears don't have O rings like the newer 4R or 5R gears.

Okay, so I don't need to replace the pump plate or the bushing? I'm getting ready to make an order from bulkpart.com and hopefully I'll order all the right parts.

Well, I got the parts in today.

I wish there were things I had known first before I started working on the explorer. I called a bunch of shops asking them if I could use their alignment tool for the pump and one of them told me that since I didn't have the transmission vertical that when I took out the pump, all of the rings/discs/clutches or something would have fallen down to the valve body. Is this true? If so I'd have to pull the pan and valve body out and then?
