On my other car, a Mercury Sable, I have this code: Faulty shift solenoid C valve - Shift solenoid C. Otherwise known as TCC PWM.
It is similar with the one that is in Explorer transmission, so I am asking this here too:
Does anyone know if the central plunger should be able to be moved by hand? Mine is stuck.

The plunger of any solenoid should be easily movable by hand. Some may be spring-loaded to return position, but still movable against spring force. imp

Thanks. I ordered one.
