trany or transfer case

i dont now what is wrong with it bearly works only in 4lo what the hell would it be trany or transfer case
i changed the fluid and filter in the trany and there was normal shevings it no big peices and i change the tranfer case and still does it

i oly works when it rev up to 4000 i dont here clunk or any thing like that i changed the fluid the filter in the trany and trs cas and only littel meatal shavings in the trany pan but no big peices and it feels like it is being held bake by a brake or something

You mean the vehicle only moves when rpms are up to 4grand?

yes in 4 lo it feel like i am pulling a tree that is in the ground

Not sure but I think that maybe a sign of a bad torque converter.

I'm not saying for sure it is, but I think that is a sign of a torque converter failure but could also be the tranny its self I doubt its the t-case.
