Trasfer case fixed, still no 4 low

I recently spent 600 dollars on rebuilding my transfer case, i took it out got stuck in a snow drift not 4 low, i took it back to the same mechanic and he said its was something electrical,what could it be?

Is the vehicle able to go into 4HI? If so, then the electromagnetically engaged 4wd system is working.

When you're trying to switch to vehicle to 4LO, is the vehicle stopped and the transmission lever in Neutral?

Ditto... If the 4wd works, it's not a lockup issue. If it won't shift to low range, were you stopped, in neutral, with your foot on the brakes? That's the only way it'll shift. If you tried that and it wouldn't shift, we need to dig deeper.
