I headed up to meet my old gang from Wisconsin and buddies from Colorado for a week of cooler temp wheeling, much to my suprise it was nearly triple digits there.
It's a nice trail with plenty of aggressive spots all the way through it but an access road that parallel's the entire trail. It's also real easy to find, North of I-70 about 8-10 miles just west of the 22 Rd exit from the interstate.
Friday night we started up this trail and then headed back to camp to return the next day. It wasn't long that my truck decided she wanted to go home with some body damage. I managed to crumple the front fender and door together coming off of a nicely shaped rock, and then shortly after slipped into a section of two tall boulders, one sacraficing my drivers rear window and quarter panel. The next day went a bit smoother, a few times we had near roll overs and got the winches out along with a nice long day of wheelin.
As usual the photos never do too much justice.
no that wasn't a rollover, thats the way the rocks push you going up this obstacle and from the top it appears his jeep is standing on the rear door.
