Truck is down, Need it back Asap. Please help!

There were 2 that come from under the dist box and were bolted onto the old terminal.

I was fairly successful at "prying" open the old ring connector, but I can get it 100% open, so I can get the strap securely inside.

Can I test to see that the grounds are sound with a multi-meter?

I used these to to fix the ground from the frame, and to connect the 2 wires from under the junc box to the terminal connection

Here is the negative terminal. I got some screw in terminals that I was able to use to connect the frame ground and another ground to the negative terminal.

Here is a shot of where I used the splice to connect the 2 from under the junc box to the extra wire that is on the neg battery cable

Here is a shot of the ground strap, barely hanging on to the old connector. I will grab a new one tomorrow

Wow, those are some interesting battery terminals, especially since the positive looks like its black as well. If you want that splice to be permanent, have someone solder it and use shrink wrap. Hopefully someone didn't hook them up backwards in the past. I don't think you are looking in the right place. That engine grounding strap "hanging on by a thread" looks reasonably secure, and also consider there is another one right from the negative battery cable. The one in the picture is more or less an extra just in case. Plus it looks like it has minimal corrosion, and your other connections likely look good as well.

If you really want to continue down this path, get a proper positive cable. Also clean the top of your battery, dirt actually can drain your battery over time. Throw the donut under the negative battery terminal out, they don't do a thing, and put dielectric grease on the terminals to prevent corrosion.

The strap is not at all secure, I could touch it and it would fall off. I have no clue how long it has been off, but it has definitely been off since all this drama happened.

I was going to replace the positive cable, but it seems like a nightmare. The positive is a red cable, its just the angle of the picture, and there are actually a few red cables converging. I will go grab a picture of it quick.

Literally all of the wiring under the hood is coated in electrical tape and bundled together

Stopped by harbor freight on my way to work, and they didn't have any ring terminals or anything I could use. I will try and salvage the old one and hopefully make it work

Try an auto parts store, menards, tons of places sell terminals. I wouldn't be surprised if you could buy a whole new strap from an auto parts store.

I was able to salvage the original

No, but I was able to bend them back and then squeeze it together. Its obviously not as secure as it would be if had the tool, but its much better than having it completely unattached.

A crimp tool is just some curved jaws. A pliers works fine. The ones that actually do any good are over $50.

Been bust lately, but I am going to try and pull the drivers side splash guard to find the PCV and check the wires for the O2 sensor tonight, while I am at work haha

OK, so what is the process for testing the wires with the Ohm meter?

I have very little experience on the electrical side of things.

Continuity is only so good. Its a quick way to check a bunch of wires, but I prefer checking ohms for individual wires. Just put a probe on each end. You will probably get something around 10-100 ohms on your standard stranded wire.
