trying to decide on what lights?

Well I've been looking around on the net for different headlight bulbs. I've noticed a lot of people with the silverstars and I was thinking of trying them. I have also seen the Nokya arctic whites on a website in which they compared them to the silverstars. They said that if you want a brighter and more bluish light than to go with the Nokya's. I don't know about other people but I like the bluish tint some lights produce. So if anyone has any experience with Nokya's please tell me what you think. Thanks

Well.. Any tint added to a halogen bulb will decrease its output. They try to make them look like HID lights found on luxury vehicles, but do a horrible job when measuring output. Silverstars are the best halogen, hands down. You get the brightest white light.

i have silverstars on mine and they are awesome. when its totally dark they make it seem as though you are driving in the daylight. Also they are just pure white, no tint to them at all

I have the silverstars in my truck and they are very bright.
I put the APC superwhite or something or other in my gf's car and she wants to trade

I have SilverStars in the headlights as well as the fog lights. Very pleased.

IMO bulbs w/color higher than 3800K are so blueish that you experiance "rain fade". That is, in a wet environment you can hardly tell if you have your lights on. Silverstars, PIAA Plat. Superwhite & Star White are the only bulbs I have found that are in the color range and dont fade out.
As you age your perception of the color blue fades. So younger eyes than mine may not have the same problem but you still wont have as much light w/blue bulbs.

I had the silverstar's, one burnt out so I put in a sylvania cool blue in it to see the difference, and there was none that I could tell. I had my girlfriend drive far down the street and back and they looked exactly the same. So for half the price (20 bucks) of the silverstars (40 bucks) I suggest the Sylvania Cool Blue lights.

Interesting. I had the same bulbs and switched to Silverstars after one of the crap, err cool blue bulbs went out.
