"Tune Up"

I am getting my Trans rebuilt this week so I figured I might as well make sure I have no other problems. Any suggestions on what I should check/replace to get my Explorer running the way it should? Every one throws the word "tune up" out there, but everyone has different ideas of what one is. I am sitting at about 150,000 miles with no real maintenance done in a while. Any ideas on cost either done by me and by a pro?

Plugs & wires, differentials flushed, air filter cleaning, coolant flush, new shocks, power steering fluid change, etc, etc.
