Depends on which tuner you're talking about. If its something like the one that SCT puts out, then yes, it works. Don't expect huge HP or economy gains, but they do work.

If it's one of those 30-60 dollar deals you see on banner ads or ebay and promises to give you increases of 50 horsepower and 10 mpg, then no.

I never had problems.

I would go to hensonperformance.com and give them a call (where I bought mine). You can talk to them about what you are trying to do and they'll tell you whether its realistic or not. Tell them you are on explorerforum.com and you can get a discount.
