This is an odd problem.

My turn signals will turn on but they wont flash. I was thinking fuse, but it is OK. So now I thought it was the relay, but according to the manual, the hazzard light use the same relay, and the hazzards work.

Any suggestions?

Ntrpriz,

Have you verified that, in fact, all four corner lamps are flashing when you are in the Hazard Warn mode, or are you just assuming so from the dash indicator light? Factory flasher relays usually like to have at least two or more bulbs on line to give enough load to heat up the flasher element to make it work. A bad bulb might not give enough load for turn signal flash, but 3 bulbs would work o.k. in the hazard mode. Walk around the car, if you haven't already, when in both the turn and hazard modes, and check to see if all bulbs are lighting/ flashing.

Another thing to check is the flasher relay itself. It is best tested by substituting a known good relay. If you don't have one around, buy one. They're inexpensive, and its good to have on hand as a spare.

Finally. it may be a grounding or corrosion problem at one of the lamps sockets, but if all 4 flash on hazard, that's probably not the problem.

All 4 lights are flashing in hazzard mode. When I turn the turn signal on, both lights light up, but dont flash. I wonder if there are 2 separate circuits inside the turn signal/hazzard relay? I guess Ill relace the realy and see what happens. Anyone know which one it is? My book says its located in the interior fuse panel, but its not labeled on my truck or in my book.

Thanks

i had the same problem when i got my navajo a while back. the hazards worked fine, but my right turn signal would just stay on. i got under the car and noticed that there was a wire going into the socket that wasn't connected. i connected it and taped it and it held for awhile. after some muddin and rain it quit working, so i soldered the wires and taped it up good. there is a differen't wire that makes the hazards work. also, i had the actual bulb pop out of the socket once..obviously that's not the problem in this case, but just something to note.
