Two probs related to recent rotor change

If you had to hammer off the rotors to get them off the hub, you could've damaged one of the ABS sensors. Ask me how I know! Even if you didn't actually hit one of the sensors, the shock transmitted from pounding on the rotors can damage them.

One problem solved! The scrapping noise was the inner lip of the rotor scrapping against the heat shield in a very small section. I removed the caliper, took a hammer and a 1/2 inch long extension, and pounded a bit on the heat shield where the rotor was rubbing. Buttoned everything up, and no more scrapping noise. On a side note, I followed the advice of some here by putting licktite on the caliper bolt...problem with that is the bolts and slide pins are now stuck together...I don't think this is a big deal since the caliper moves about the slide pins and the pins don't need to move, but pain in the butt if you have to take the caliper off since the pins come out with the bolts now...I won't do that again.

The ABS problem can wait...I probably messed up the sensor when I was banging on the rotor on that side.
