So I bought new upper and lower control arms for both sides, as well as sway bar end links and sway bar bushings.
I also bought the bushings for the passenger side inner-upper control arm and two new bolt kits. All Moog parts.
Life being life, work, soccer practice for two, Karate, etc. etc. My wife said "You don't have time, pay someone else." More than once.
So I did.

Picked the truck up this afternoon, and the guy says he did everything. Well, everything except the inner-upper right side bushings because the Torque Monsters are in the way. I asked him what was hitting and he said the factory bolt with the welded on washer, the washer was hitting one of the TM tubes and he could not get the bolt out. I said new bolts are provided and the washer is not welded on, sawzall the old one off.
He said no way because if it doesn't, he's not taking the header off in order to get the bolt back in.

I read the upper control arm/ball joint thread front to back a couple of times and only found reference to a couple of lines on the drivers side that need to be unbolted and tweaked out of the way.

I cannot be the only one to remove the right upper control arm for either new bushings or to replace with the one piece.

Does somebody know, will the Moog bolt kit go back in? Has anybody run into this?
It's a 2001 with the 5.0, obviously, and I remember in the TMH thread someone said the late 5.0's had the motor shifted back just a bit.

I drove it home, and while it is 95% better there is still a small clunk on the right side when hitting expansion joints. I will do shocks next, but I don't really feel any need, the Edelbrocks do have 100k but no leaks or bounce and still ride stiff.

So two things...what else could cause the slight "clunk", and regardless, how do I get the bolts out/back in?

Stock front suspension but Torque Monsters, so I posted in modified.

Has anybody on here with Torque Monster Headers either changed to a one piece upper control arm on the drivers side or changed the bushings in the two piece unit?

Was there any problems getting the old bolts out or new bolts in because of the headers?

I remember when I replaced the orginal bolts with the moog ecentric bolts it was easier to get the moogs in because you can spin the washer separately, this of course with factory manifolds, butane this helps you. I only had an issue with the driver side.
