'91 XLT
Hey ya'll, I,m excited to pick some of your brains. I have a '91 XLT that's lifted of coarse. what i'm tring to find out is if I can stuff a 302 V8 in it. Also, will it bolt up to my transmission. Another thing I was looking for was some kind of prerunner style rear fiberglass fenders. I already have the front fenders. I apreciate any useful info.

there ar ecompanies out there that make rear fender for your truck... they arent complete take off you fender deals though, they do allow you to cut your fenders out a lot and then the fiber hides your cutting....

as far as the v8, yes it is possible, it wont bolt up to your transmission and its going to be very expen$ive .... there is tons of info on this site regarding engine swaps... you should do a search on it... there is even a forum for it.....

welcome to the site

For the fenders...there is a company called Perrys Fab N Fiber that makes all sorts of fiberglass fenders.

Welcome to the site! :bounce:

To clairify, the rear fiberglass does not cut the fenders out a bunch nor do they really allow for larger tires. I could trim maybe an inch on either the front or rear. They do cover the tires outside of the fenders. Let me find the link where I got mine from. The front fenders are a bolt on and allow much more room for larger tires. I'll post tonight some pics and links.

FYI, there isn't a V8 that will bolt up to your trans. Lot's of other options. Check out the V8 swap thread.

Welcome Gd Lck
