undercoating

what undercoating are you guys usig i'm looking for something that hardens up not that stuff that just scratches off

I have recently tried a rubberized undercoating product. It is mady by Westleys. I got it at Pep Boys $4 a big can. You can also get a professional quality product at auto paint stores. You can also use a rattle can spray paint, and reapply as necessary.

3M # 08881 works well. It is rubber based but once it drys it holds on quite well.

I used the 3M stufff on my fiberglass fenders, and it hasn't come off at all. Pretty good stuff from what I've experienced.
