1994 explorer
i have recently replaced the MAF, coil, throttle position sensor, & idle air control valve on a 1994 Explorer.
now the problem... push the gas pedal=loss of power
release gas pedal=surge
I took it around the corner, and ended up just SURGING extremely slowly down the street. (all the neighbors couldn't stop laughing). Is it my catalytic converter? I am out of ideas...please help

Check your fuel pressure. Wouldn't hurt to throw new spark plugs in her to.

Just an FYI, changing parts isn't a good idea not just for the cost but also because you can get dead parts right out of the box. The OEM Motorcraft ones usually last a long time.

Your first option should be a KOEO and KOER test, see what comes back.
