Well this past weekend a couple of friends and me went to the sand dunes near our hometown and I'm really impressed with the outcome of my new Truck (well at least to me).

We went on pretty steep hills with sand all the way to the top and never got stuck, well at first I was running at 30 PSI and got stuck, but as soon as I got them to 19 PSI, no one could stop me.

They were 5 cars in all, a RAV 4, A Grand Vitara, Modified Bug, a Jeep, and myself and the Jeep was the all around champion, but not far from me.

Hope they send me the pictures as soon as I have them I will post them.

I take mine to the dunes all the time (Oceano/Pismo Beach). Never been stuck either. I run at about 11 psi when I hit the realy soft stuff. The AWD is great.

Didn't know

I didn't know you could go that far down on the tires, I think we are going to go again in a couple of weeks I will try it.

It gives you a bigger patch of tread :) Just be careful. Any lower and you could pop a bead without bead locks. So far I have had no problems running that low.

Thanks

Thanks Smiley, and also need to have a portable air compressor when I come back from the dunes right?

or a lot of air in your lungs
