Updates to 5r55e valve body diary?

Im thinking of attacking this soon. I read a few pages into the diary, but its almost 10 years old at this point.

Have there been revisions or updated parts since then?

Im looking to replace the epc solenoid and bracket, gaskets, and possibly some upgrades.

Since then Borg Warner came out with an upgraded EPC solenoid which the members on this forum had the opportunity to test before they put it into production. WWW.BulkPart.Com sells it. It has no color band around the front filter like the other models (red or green). The company gave us 2 different solenoids to test until they decided which one to put into production. Sonnax has a lot of different rebuild kits with O ring seals for this valve body. Get the bonded separator plates instead of regular gaskets. Use the Transtec Viton D ring kit on the low/reverse servo instead of plain O ring seals for a tighter fit.
