I want to beef up my stock axles, well at least the rear. Anybody have any advice for me on this? Stock 93 sport…

What size tires you running?
The shafts on the rear are pretty thick. I'd weld the tubes to the pumpkin.

The Ford 8.8 is a pretty good axle. Tire size up to 35-inches is acceptable. The 8.8 is actually stronger than a Dana 44.

There isn't much available as far as aftermarket for the 8.8. The 8.8 is a stout axle. You can get a new diff cover to support the bearing caps, or a full carrier locker. Other than that the biggest upgrade for you would be to swap disk brakes.

For the most part the drive train is pretty stout with the exception of the transmission. If you want to do worthwhile upgrades do youself a favor and work on beefing that up. Extra cooler, change the fluid and filter frequently, trans temp gauge, etc.

I believe Yukon makes replacement axles...
