I would like to try and upgrade heated side view mirrors on my wife's '06 Eddie Bauer. I found the below thread here, but rather than bump a pretty old thread I figured I'd start a new one to see if since then anyone has done this.

One of the posters there said that the '06-'10 E.B. and Limited models have the wiring already there, which would be great.

think they are lacking the fuse in the fuse box only. havent really done this, but wires should be all in the harness. might need a fuse or 2 in the fuse boxes.

I tried to upgrade my 06' xlt (Right Side only) to a puddle lamp with heat. The wires were there, but it does not work. No fuses are missing (no contacts in any unused holders) nor any unused relay holders with contacts. Might I need the drivers side also to complete the circuit? Does anyone have an electrical schematic for the PL and heat option?

I have the schematic but I dont have the rights to attach files.

I suppose you wouldn't need "rights" if you just told me how the circuit is run.;)

it runs through the sjb, it is a fuse missing, when the rear defroster is on the mirrors turn on. the real question is does the sjb have both sides of the fuse.
