urgent help needed!!!!

so about a month ago my truck got a miss in #4 and #7 so i just replaced all of them figured it be fine now outta no where yester day it was raining all day and it had the worst miss felt like i was driving on 1 cilnder so i parked it unplugged the battery reset them ecm and it was fine now today i go out start it let it warm up and its missing horrible again but no check engin light is on wen i get up to around 50 it turns into a lug no power any suggestion i have my buddy coming over in a few to scan it but it just makes no sense i just replaced them all any ideas at all guys im puzzled?

its the 4.6 v8 were the coil goes right on top the plug yeah it was fixed for a few weeks then here it goes again got it scanned say nothing about a miss but i defently is missing says that bank #1 and bank#2 are bad refering to the cats but its clearly missing but no check engine light im so lost ive nvr had problems like this with a suv like this befor

Went through the same problem in 2011. Found out that my 1998 Ford Explorer Sport, V6 4.0 SOHC, VIN X, 5 speed trans likes to crack heads. Sure enough, after 2 coil packs and no change (the heads were cracked). $1800 repair and now fine. Seems to be common with Explorer/F150. Good luck.... Larry
 






original intake manifold? i know the 4.6 manifold likes to crack and get coolant inside the plugs

yeah but i dont get y i just replaced all of that ran fine then it rains and down ***** creek we go lol cant win to lose and im outta ideas its clearly missing wen iget up to 50 its like im going over speed bumps i jus idk im puzzled
 






also the service engin soon light started flashing on my way home pulled over turned it off let it sit for 15 mins restarted it no lights
 






What brand of coil did you buy, i was working with a guy a couple of years back on a Lincoln with a 4.6 no check engine light after the initial miss code and the customer tried replacing two of the shot coils with after market ones but the issue just spread to the rest of the coils there was a service bulletin on it i believe, however clogged cats will feel like a miss fire and cause lack of power issues but like 05exploder said check your manifold for cracks, not that you dont already know but when its flashing that means the cats are in danger or are being damaged, do you hear any abnormal rattling?

no no rattling and i used all matching ones from advanced could i beat the cats to un clog them? and intake looks fine to me

Same problem as I stated earlier. Hit 50 and it shakes like crazy. Constant engine check light. Cracked head.
 






went to auto zone got it scanned for second opinion mis cilnder 8 bad spark plug changing that tomor and the crank sensor is bad code p308 and code p0316

amazingly today replaced all spark plugs with motor craft platinum's put injector cleaner in it and the light went off no missing

Assume the plugs you removed were NOT stock Motorcraft or Autolite. Were they Bosch? :thumbdwn:
