What exactly makes one a sport package?

Platinum painted fender flares and bumpers(Eddie Bauer/Limited style), tubular side steps, 16" wheels w/255 tires, and no chrome(except emblems). It is like the North Face edition in GB

I also had a 2000 2door sport with the premium package and the 4.0SOHC, inthe premium package had the platinum flairs, the 1998-2001 4 door sports were 6 or 8 cyl and had the platinum flairs and 16inch allow wheels, basically the new style EB flairs in platinum instead if gold for the EB or body colored for the Limited. I think the Merc made a special package with the 16 inch wheels too,
This weekend my buddy get to fin some fun way to drop the pan and find out whats wrong, I hope its the pump going bad and not sludge or I'll be pissed with motorcraft.
