Do the V8 motor mounts from a 2nd generation Ex fit a TTB Ranger?

What about the transmission mount?

...And so it begins...:D

...You might ask Rwenzing as he is pretty sharp on Ranger V8 swaps..

Looking at Advance Adapter's site, I'd say the answer is no, they won't fit due to chassis design changes. :(

So, the question is, use convertible Mustang mounts (which fit when swapped left to right) *or* use V6 Ranger mounts with an adapter plate (easy to make)?

what trans are you planning on running?

Still under investigation - I'd like to run an AOD (non-electric overdrive) so I can use the existing shift mechanism.

Not sure if this will work, though...

Just buy the L&L Mounts.

I tried for DAYS to get the Fox mounts to work, and in the end...I just bought the L&L's.

Great product, lined up PERFECTLY....

I would recommend them to anyone trying to stuff a SBF into a RBV.

I'll look into those. Thanks.

The 1996-2001 Explorer mounts will only work on those trucks or 1998+ Rangers with torsion bars. Will not work on other explorers.
