I did a search, and didn't find a post that fully met my requirements...
Howdy. As said in my signature, I have a '92 stick shift 4 door, 4x2 Ex. I want a bad azz truck. My dad has a 302 from a '68 Mustang sitting in the barn. It hasn't run in about 10 years but has always been in decent storage. I'll have it rebuilt before anything since its been sitting and was smoking way back then.
Is it difficult to drop this into my truck? I wouldn't have to deal with a transfer case and stuff, and no electronic crap with the transmission. I would have the local Mustang genius do the work. I think I would keep it carbed unless you guys say not to.
No, I don't want to do anything to the 4.0. It runs fine but I want more power. I don't want another car, or another truck, and I think I know what I'm getting into, so don't talk me out of it now. I want something quick for summer driving.
