Valve Body replacement No forward or Reverse

I just recently replaced my valve body with a rebuilt one. A little back story... I was having issues going into forward and reverse without have to pump the accelerator (it would go into gear on the when coming down from high RPMs and then it would slip out) Changed the valve body according to the specifications in the manual for reinstall I received with the rebuilt valve body. Added about 5 quart to full but not overfull. Started it up. It was kinda hard to go from park to reverse and now it does not go forward or reverse. Seems like it slides through the gears but does not go anywhere. Anyone have anything I could try?



97 Ranger 4.0L 5RR5E Automatic transmission.

You did not get the manual valve hooked on the selector.
