Hey guys,

I have been looking everywhere for upgraded Valve Covers for my 2000 5.0.... does anyone have any ideas? I'd realy like to use some Ford motorsports Valve covers but they say non-EFI so I'm guessing they wont work!

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

well if you want... you can take your stock valve covers and have them polished.... or you can have them powdercoated any color you could desire. they turn out great powdercoated. i recently did mine in bright yellow and they look great.

The valve covers that you posted a picture of, are for EFI applications. (part # M-6000-J302) If you look inthe Motorsport catalog there is a good selection of valve covers for EFI's. You will have trouble with your pass cover though because of the oil fill tube. Good luck in your search.

I'm with Speedfreak, what you are showing is what you want.
Summit Racing has a large selection of Valve Covers for EFI 5.0L also.

If you want to run a 1" spacer between the Upper and Lower sections of the Intake Manifold, you can have a larger selection of valve Covers.
Also, the 1" spacer should increase your low-end torque.

I chose the Summit Aluminum Cover along with the spacer for my latest project. With the engine sitting on the stand these covers look great although I am thinking about painting them the color of the engine. (Bright Red)

Good Luck,

:us: :chug: :can:
