Hi Guys,

I live in the northeast and noticed that my 2000 eddie bauer has a vibration coming from the rear when it's really cold. Does anyone know what could be causing this since it usually starts when you stop at a stop light. You can be in park and let it idle and it will sometimes start vibrating in the rear.

Thanks,
Mike

Maybe your exhaust is hitting on something?

yeah I heard about that problem, but it was from some guy that lived in Woosta........

Oh wait.... Woosta and Worcester Are the Same Place!

It sounds like it may be your drive shaft, it may be out of Ballance.....

I just had a 60k mile tune-up.. The mechanic I go to is very knowledgeable and they weren't able to pinpoint the vibration since the past couple days it was warm and it doesn't always make the noise. I guess that I will have to wait for the vibration to start more frequently to figure out what's making the vibration/noise.

I notice a vibration when moving when its cold out, and my tranny doesn't like to shift, i think i have southern X!!
