Voice Activation stopped working

I have had trouble with the voice activation on my 2011 Ford Explorer just stopping. Often the GPS quits, too. I purchased it used but have an extended warranty. It has been @ the Ford dealer constantly, and they say they have replaced every part. Today they told me it's possible my cell phone is locking up the computer and that's what is causing the problems. Has anyone else had this happen?

It would also be very helpful in addressing any future concerns if you added the 'model' of your Explorer to your profile so it always shows in the margin.
