Ok, seeing as there is such a wealth of knowledge here, I want to use it!

It was suggested I go with a shackle/TT combo to get a few more inches of height. Does this void the warranty?

I currently am running 255/70/16, what would be the largest tire I could get on this rim? I kinda like the stock rim. For now.. hehe.

(And to the person who said this site was addictive. DAMN YOU! You were too right! Now everytime I look at my X, I think of this site and get angry.. and motivated!)

i think it will void ur suspension warranty. but im sure others will have specific answers

You can run a 265/75/16 with a TT and shackles. It's a 32x10.50.

It will only void the warranty on your suspension components and possibly the CV joints and hub assemblies if the dealer is really **** about it.

THATS WHY WHEN MY TRUCK GOES IN this week.. im taking my shackles off and putting the stock ones back on =)

That's gonna be dealer dependent. Mine has been back to the local Ford garage (with the TT & Shackles installed) for a front end klunk under warranty, and they gave me no problems at all. If I remember correctly, they ended up replacing a bushing somewhere in the suspension to get rid of the klunk.

if you think it will void it, whenever you have to take it in, just take off the shackles, cause its only 4 bolts, not to hard..

Also a good reason to leave the stock ones laying around instead of getting rid of them.....
