My 95 X seems to have an odd characteristic.

With the H/AC control switched to direct heat to face and feet the AC comp. runs. All other settings work as expected. Is this a problem or just a "Better Idea" by Ford?

Compressor will run in all positions except panel, and for 99+? panel and floor

Well then maybe the prob. is that the compressor does not run in the floor only or face only positions???

Compressor won't run on panel. Compressor will run on MAX A/C, A/C, panel/floor, floor, defrost/floor, defrost. In "98 or '99, i believe Ford added the floor position to the "no compressor" list.
