I finally made a webpage with the pictures of my X on it. I've had trouble posting them on here before...so Check them out...let me know what you think.

I don't have any of the newsest pictures on including my new pinstriping job.

suggestions wanted about sporty mods

I'm working on making it more sporty.

However I need suggestions on how to make it more sporty, with out lowering it...i don't have that kind of money.....or rims, they are quite expenisive too.

i was thinking of a rear deflector, since i think they look like spoilers, and i am really close to getting a limited edition air dam.

anything eles thats "sporty" like i could do?

If possible cheap mods are the best for me

Please don't double or triple post, it's really annoying. Most of us check all the forums, and we don't like seeing 3 copies of the same post. It also makes it difficult to follow the replies. Please delete 2 of your "See my truck" threads.

i like the lifted X's
and i like the lowered X's

but i don't have the money to do either,
so i got to make what i have look the best i can.

i guess i did go overboard, i was just to excited to finally make the website.

I couldn't delete them so I changed the body parts on the other two, so that they more fit the board they are posted on....

You asked . Take off the running boards , and pinstripes . The running boards are totally opposite of sporty . The pinstripes as well , they take away from the sleek look . You can lower it very cheaply , chop the springs in ft. , if you stay within1-1.25" it won't effect the ride quality to bad . The more you chop em' the worst the ride . Blocks in the rear ($20) . Goodluck .

Nice X. Where did you get that Pioneer Sticker. I have been trying to get one for years. My ZX2, my wifes Sunfire Convertable and soon my X will have all Pioneer. But I can't find the dang sticker. Let me know how and where to get it and a price if you remeber. THanks!!!

Yea I had a local ricer burner shop make it..
it was like 30 for them to make it and put it on
not to bad of a deal

well after several attempts to email the company for a sticker i finally just had one made at a local shop, they have the acutal pioneer font, so it looks basically just like their font...
cost was like 11-12 i think.

Man your X started looking really sweet once you threw that new grille on there. Where did you get it at? Also, where did you get those tail lights and that explorer4x4.com sticker? Pretty clean.

i got the grille from explorerexpress.com

and the tail lights from truckmagic here on the message board.

i agree with rockymntnhi, take off the running boards. ya know what would look cool?...get some nerf bars and paint them the same color as your truck, the nerf bars you could probably get for $100 or so (try asking around here or ebay), and the paint job will probably run between $50 and maybe around $80.

I don't really favor early-model Explorers, but I like yours! Nice work. Granted, a nerf bar upgrade and pinstripe removal would do wonders.
