Want A Booming Amp?

Ok guys, just kickin around the idea of selling my amp, wanted to see what kinda response I could get. Its an MTX (model#)150X2. Its rated at 300x1 bridged, 225x2 @ 2 ohms or 175x2 @ 4 ohms. It retails for like 375ish and I have the added remote gain control switch that was an extra 35 so a total investment of about 400 bucks on the amp. Ive only had it since August and Im running 2 JL audio 12's and it pounds! Im thinking of moving up to a Rockford. I would like to see around 315 bucks and U pay the shipping. Post any ?'s you may have...

Have you considered posting the amp on Ebay to see what it will bring at auction?

FWIW: $315 sounds WAY too much for $400 used audio equipment. But who knows? There's one born every minute! Dead Link Removed

those amps at salesco are the crappiest piles of sh*t on the face of this earth, the 1000 watt amp probably only hits a 1000 watts in a lab some place for like a split millasecond, and push about 50watts constant........what i am trying to say here is don't buy a crappy amp if you want a half decent sounding stereo, if it sounds too good to be true it pry is

what kind of MTX is it? how old, blue thunder? road thunder?

Thanks for the response you guys...its an MTX blue thunder, i cant sacrafice it for any less than 275. Its an awesome amp and I guess ill get to enjoy it for a while longer. I cant take that much of a hit on it since its only 3 or 4 months old. Feel free to post any other questions...
