Want to buy a Sport Trac (odd request)

I'm looking at selling my S/C Ranger because the kids are revolting against dad for making them sit in the jump seats. I'm looking to buy an '05 Sport Trac off e-Bay. The problem is it's down in Illinois and I'm in Michigan and it has a moonroof. I want to make sure I have enough head clearance (I'm 6'1") before I buy it.

Is there anyone in southeast Michigan that has an '01-'05 with a moon roof and wouldn't mind me sitting in it for a min or two? I work in Dearborn and live in Belleville.

I also bought my sport trac off ebay, mine was out of St.Louis. It has a moonroof, I am 6'2''and don't have any head clearence issues.

Headroom is no problem! i am 6'1 myself. Yes it is a great truck for kids. Thats the reason i sold my eclipse and bought the ST.

Actually there is only one around here with a moonroof and it's WAY on the north side of Detroit. All the others for sale around here don't have a moonroof.

You could just as easily find one on a dealers lot, 02-05 are the same, I'm not to sure after that

I am 6' and have no problems in my sport W/ sun roof. It is not a s/t but from the front seat forward they are the same.

My step-dad was 6'4" and had a 98 explorer (basically the same) with a moonroof, no problems for him.
If you're looking for an 05 sport trac you could buy mine!

i have a friend his name is kevin i believe he lives in dearborn and he has a sport trac its like that brown colored and its an 05 i believe i dunno if he sold it or still has it but i havent talked to him in like 2 years i dunno if he got rid of the internet or got a new account or what.

The ST is a good choice! Mine is loaded with the moonroof. Im 6' 1" and its more comfortable than the f150 of superduty i had. I wish i could trade could trade you i would like to go back to a ranger. lol

Thank you to all who responded either here or PM. Your time was appreciated. We got the dreaded, but anticipated, letter yesterday from our Bank about my Home Equity Line of Credit had been curtailed because of the decreased value of our home.

Oh well, guess the kids will have to deal with the Ranger a few more years.

there is a nice 05 sport trac for sale 2 blocks from where i am at but the only thing is i dont like the color blue. Its like a deep wedgewood blue color and it is lifted and it has bigger tires i dunno what size and it has euro tailights and tinted windows and its the xls model.
