:confused:I would like to do a really cheap & easy 2"-4" lift on my X. I don't have much cash to spare if any. I've looked for threads on here but haven't ran across any as of yet. would be is if i could find a thread or have someone tell me exactly how to do it. Any & all help will be greatly appreciated. If it helps i would like to add 33x10.5 BFG t/a's in the future. I also run fire calls with it so i don't want to get to high w/the lift.:o

...Click on the "How to" in my signature..Check out the F150 coil seat link..;)

Thanks tbars. I just got my 1st X a couple of months ago. So i'm new to lifting my truck. But i am some what mechanically inclined. Is a soa hard to do? Would i also need the f150 springs along w/the seats? if i can get 4" inches of lift out of this it would be awesome.

Well the SOA will give you a good 5.5" of lift so you dont want to do that. And when lifting the front more than 2in you will need axle drop brackets to correct the alignment. So your best two options are to either get a 3in body lift and f150 coil seats for the front and extended shackles for the rear(which will give you around 4.5" total and is the cheapest method) or just buy a complete 4in lift kit from superlift, rough country, skyjacker, etc...

...Just the seats and the shackles are all that is needed..;)

...If you read thru my link there is all kinds of lift info including the SOA lift by Dannyboy...Most start off with the F150 seats and start saving for, and buying parts for their next lift...Usually a 4"-6" lift is next but you start getting into bucks after the f150 coil seat lift...:dunno:

I'll give a try tbars, what size shackles would you recommend. this is only for about 2" correct.

...Thanks 91/37...I swear when I first posted it said 31" tires..:headbang:

...Search for warrior shackles on here...About $75 now...
...He will need to also look at the wheel and tire chart in this link, the gear chart, and get some more cash...A 2" lift is cheap and up to 32" tires...A 4"-6" will be about a grand, give or take the tires...
