i found the link for the warn hub replacement hubs. i want to replace the auto hubs that dont work now, due to relay switch on transfer case. if i put theese hubs in will that by pass my problem. and i want to put the biggest tires i can on a stock withougt a lift will i be able to get 30" on withought a problem. i also seen that the warn hubs are only 40 bucks but is that for bolth sides and will i need any other parts to do the job. i have torn it all down before and i didnt have any problems but that plastic parts in the right side was broke.i do not have any indicator light that says the 4x4 is working either.i am hopeing that the warn kit will fix this problem. will i need theese plastic parts with the warn kit or what is the deal. i just need to know how this whole swap thing works and what i will need to do the job.

thanks , BigSeth

First off, the auto hubs are non electric, they are strictly mechanical, so if the light on the dash is not on, then something else is wrong. Do a search on rebuilding the transfer case shifter motor to help narrow things down.
Second, I doubt the manual hubs are $40, I think you might be looking at the spindle nut coversion kit, which you will need to buy in addition to the hubs.
I cant say for sure about the price, as I have not bought them yet, my auto hubs still work (for now, lol).

The hubs are not your only problem and they are definitely not $40. A set of Warn hubs will run $160-$180 at most parts stores, cheaper some places online. You will need the spindle nut conversion kit also, and the plastic cams will be eliminated.

Mile Marker and Superwinch also make manual hubs for the D35 and both are cheaper than Warn (but probably not as high quality).

i see it is only like 200 bucks for the in all for the warn hubs. i am gonna try to fix the stocker first, i got a deal for the cams and other pieces for like 10 bucks. i only use the 4x4 in winter and on some rough fishing trails. i am looking to put like 30 in tires on it. will this work withought extensive mods? i am not trying to re gear it or put a lift on it. but the more i see theese pics of all theese bad ass rides, i am looking further and further into it.i fish here in pa"fly fish" for trout and i go all over the mountains and take some hairy trails. i have not had anyproblems with the stocker in 2wd just looking for ways to geta little more height and 4x4 by god. thanks for the help.

You should be fine with 30x9.50 tires stock.

I put 31 10.5 15" tires on mine with no problems.
What is your trans fer case doing? Sometimes it is just a matter of your shift shaft may be a little sticky and repeated engaging and disengaging fixes the problem. I had to tap on mine and try to engage it. It started out hit and miss but eventually it started working every time. Also, there is a little nylon bushing that gets flat or desinagrates altogether in the the shift motor. There is a rebuild thread on that here somewhere.
I put warn hubs on mine so all I had to do was jack up the rear and make sure that the hubs where disengaged to get the shift motor to start working. The manual hubs are really nice to have!!! If you can get them for $40, I would get them in a heart beat but like others have said, that may be just for the nuts.
