I'm thinking of adding 1.5 inch of lift on the rear by the shackles. I can't find a part number on their web page. I have a 93 xlt. anyone have a part number?????? cost??????
I'm a little worried about a longer shackle flexing and causing a "squirrely condition" Any thoughts?????
thanks!

Part #153 if you want the gray hammer tone or part #353 if you want gold/zinc anodized.

There's no noticeable difference in "Squirreliness".

Hope this helps.

I've been to warrior products web site. I can't find a phone number to contact and order them. Anyone got a phone number or better yet, a set and want to sell????????

The info is there, it is just a VERY poorly set up web site. Basically you need to scroll through the "next page" links on each page until you get to the last page which is their contact info page.

what is the website for warrior products -- i haven't been able to find it??????????

and those shackles will just bolt on to the explorer sort replacing the old ones or do they mount to the old ones??

thanks

are you guys actually using jeep shackles or do they have one for the explorer? if you are using one for a jeep, which one is it, cause im looking at revlover shackles, but don't know exactly which one would match up best.....anybody anybody?

Riffman,

We got Warrior to produce Explorer shackles for us. They are made for Explorers.

No one has tried the Revolvers yet but several of us have thought about it. I decided not to because they will not provide addtional lift like the Warriors do and I need all the clearance I can get.

One of the Revolvers, I cannot remember if it is for the CJ or YJ, measures 3" width and 5.5" in closed length which is the stock measurement for most Explorer shackles. In theory it should work. What no one knows is if they can stand up to the extra strain of weight that an Explorer has over a Jeep. Someone will just have to try them out and report to us how they held up (hint ;)....)

hahaha....wink, wink, nudge, nudge.....

let me do my soa first....after that is when i'll try it...(if i can mustard up the dough)

I have just looked under my truck and have bad news. I can't fit shackels as they will hit on my class three hitch.
