I have water spots on my wheels that I cannot get off. I live in NM and have very hard water but never had water spots until recently. I have tried metal restore and scrubbing and everything. What else can I try? by the way they are polished MT classic 2's.

Viniger solution may help. Wet a paper towel with it and lay it on the spot for a few min. & see what happens. Works for spots on windows.

I've always heard that you should take care of your rims just as well as your car's paint, and the fact that the rims are probably clearcoated so if the vinegar solution didn't work, you can try some swirl mark remover or rubbing compound. Try the SMR first because it's less abrasive before trying rubbing compound because the compound acts as a 1500 grit sandpaper.
