Anyone got any suggestions on this ?

I have just received my KKM induction kit to hopefully solve one problem with deep water, and now I need to solve another.

I have searched on here for any info on this but only seem to be able to find passing reference to this saying it needs to be done...my question is does anybody know how ?

HELP

Talk to Alec i believe he waterproofed the electronics in his truck.

Wouldn't know where to start on the electronics. How deep you planning on going? Have you rerouted your over flow lines for your diffs, tranny and xfer? You may want to get a snorkel also?

Alec, appears you may be my saviour again :D

Any ideas ?

I haven't really done anything specific to my electronics, I've just routed everything as high as possible and tried to use watertight connections for splices. Also I try not to turn on any lights that are submerged or touching the river.

Someone else suggested to extend your breather lines. That is very good advice. Extend your front diff, rear diff, tranny, and tcase breather lines to the engine bay. You can do this with cheap vacuum tubing and cap them with cheapo valve cover filters. Once you do that, you should be able to go through water at your bumper height without a problem, as long as you keep moving and don't turn off your motor.

Alec,

Thanks for that. Just wanted to make sure I ahve covered every angle
