We finally got some snow

thanks!

all we get here is wind, fire, and this is either a dead tree or a whale carcass with a bird sitting on it.. not much fun.

No snow here in Florida and thank god for that.
I moved here to get away from that stuff.
This is where I have been spending my winter afternoons.

I live bout 8-10 miles from Lewistown which is in Mifflin County.

They are saying we may get some more tonight. I will try to get some pics this time if we do get some.

We got dumped on again last night...Around 8-9" more fresh powder. It's so cold too, that regular road salt won't melt it. The county is using a blend of sand, gravel, and calcium carbonate (?) when it gets this cold. Not sure what calcium carbonate is...I wasn't paying attention in chemistry a lot of the time. ;)

It was quite slippery...I was able to out-slide the AdvanceTrac's trying to correct me, as even applying brake pressure to the correct wheel wasn't doing much. There just wasn't any traction! It was great...Got to get it to drive sideways for several hundred yards just like I could do with my old Grand Cherokee with Quadra-Trac. Loved it!
