wedge light replacement

How do I replace the front passenger side wedge light bulb on a 98 Ranger XLT? I am having a difficult time just getting to the lamp. How do I gain access so that I can reach the bulb to replace?

Hmm, I don't know what a wedge light is. Can you describe the location better?

The wedge light is located directly at the side of the headlight.
It resembles a "wedge" or a "triangle". 1998 Ford Ranger.
The turn signal is located beneath both of the the above.
