Weird Issues, GEM?

I'm having weird issues in my 2000, along with a few codes that all have the GEM as the culprit, first is the wipers are only functional on high and full speed, anything else and they just move a bit and stop, drivers window auto down stops at random for no apparent reason, swapped the master switch and didn't do a thing, radio works sometimes, replaced with aftermarket, still only works sometimes, and just has the occasional weird interior issue, did notice the window switches are getting power all the time too, it can sit overnight, go outside and hit the switch and the windows go down, that the GEM quitting on me? I have one from a 99 5.0 2WD I would swap in but I want the go ahead from people who know about the GEM.

Can you run output tests on the GEM with the PC version forscan?

Yeah wiper losing timed movement intervals and window auto-down issues are near certain to be the GEM, or wiring/connectors to it.

I can but I was asking since the GEM swap is easy enough and I have one that would in theory work.
