Weird MFT radio issue

Ever since I purchased my explorer about 2 months ago my radio turns on and off by itself. The weird part about it is that in only does it when I'm traveling with passengers, when I drive the car by myself the radio works perfect but as soon as a passenger gets in the car it starts turning on and off by itself. Is there something about the settings I'm missing or has anyone had this issue?

Doesn't the car sense whether to enable or disable the passenger airbag? Maybe that's messing with it somehow.

Yes it is. I put it on mine, freaked the kids and girlfriend out.

Never heard of that one and I've been on these boards since about April of last year. Take it to the dealer. Make sure to do a ride along (so you have a passenger).

Maybe it's haunted?

I got to use it in my friend's new Edge. He was so excited to see the A/C seats, he didn't think he had those... Then he looked at the right hand side and bust out laughing.

I can't wait for the updated version, and then the Explorer of our own to put it on!
