^ Mostly happening an inch from the connectors though, seems as likely to be brittle insulation and cracking where it bends, since rodents don't usually have rulers with them to measure an inch.
If there's a rodent in Tennessee that chews the same wires on 6 different cars in the exact same place I'll take my tin foil hat off and now believe the rodents can communicate and ARE out to get us.thats either rodent damage of 4 legs or possible 2 legged kind depending on what type of shops you have in the area
