On a cold start, I go to turn the ignition over but it'll just sit there and turn forever. I pull the ignition back, then try to start it again, and it'll start right up.

It'll start the second time no matter what.. Even if I just let it turn over once the first time. But it doesn't seem to start at all on the first try.

180k miles on it and no major repairs.. Seems like the starter might be going.. If not, it will be soon with "starts" like this.

After it warms up it'll start right up with no problems, this only happens on a cold start.

Any ideas on what's wrong or what I can do to fix it?

Might be fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. I think I remeber seeing a couple of threads that had that same problem and the solution was one of those two. Do a search for FPR or fuel pump. There is a ton of info on those two here.

Before turning to start the first time, pause with the key on "ON" for 5 secs, then shut off, turn to "ON", pause for 3 secs then turn to start. If the engine starts right up, it means the check valve in your Fuel Pump is going bad and letting gas drain out of the line back into the tank. takes a few tries to prime the lines again.
