well was getting ready to leave work today, so i hit the auto start and it tried 3 times to start and nothing happened. so i went outside and tried to start the truck myself and it just cranked and cranked, i started to smell gas it was obviously flooded, which makes me think the fuel pump is fine and replaced the fuel filter before christmas. I have new motor craft plugs and wires just havent put them in yet. im kinda lost it eventually started after lots and lots of crankling and thats when all the smoke came from being flooded, any reason why it wouldnt turn over and just flood, i had plenty of power and the battery is a month old. any help would be great thanks alot. ps did search around this site but everyone seems to have check engine lights and codes come up, i have no codes or lights when running, could there be codes even if the check engine light didnt come on? thanks again. has 72,000 on it. warrant just quit

Well hopefully one of you very knowledgeable guys can help me out, maybe even point me in the direction of the correct post encase I'm just beating a dead horse here lol

Welcome aboard! :salute:

Sorry, I can't help you with you issue. Did you try using the search function? I know I have seen some threads dealing with the remote start.

Consider this a free bump. :biggthump

thanks for the help ill give it a shot.

Good luck. Be sure to keep us posted.

only guess remote start is busted, and grounding an injector open.

since most alarm places use an injector pulse, they tap one of the injectors to know when the vehicle is running/rpm signal. i would check that.
