Your never be able to get decent bass out of those with sub $300 amp. You should have went with one sub box if you wanted to keep it that low. Too low of power and bad quality can blow those subs....too little of power and distortion are the killers to subs.

I think that one isn't powerful enough. It doesnt have enough wattage to even meet the sub's RMS. Plus Im not to sure you could wire those subs to 1 OHM. I think your best bet is to go with the Amps I recommended, I dont think you will do better than them. Ive got a friend that has had some bad luck with Audiobahn amps (particuallarly older ones like the one you found). Ive never had a single problem with those amps.

i guess their not too bad of a deal either at $90 each. i'll probably get them. thanks.

Thing is, your subs are 4ohm impendence, running them in 2ohm, or bridged, will be fine with those amps gator has mentioned.

yeah, those rockford's are nice. i didn't order the subs in the bandpass yet, but those were most likely the ones we were gonna get. either those or they have 2 12's in a bandpass for a little more. i thought the 10's would be fine, especially with the nice box and neons included.

*gator adds another notch to his belt* Glad I could help.

I was saying he couldnt do $300 from a store...most people here are kind of scared of buying electronics off of ebay. This year's model of that amp is $250, which he would need two of them ($500). I buy all of my car audio off of ebay and havent had one problem.

Sure you were ;) No, Im just messing with you. As long as you buy through a store On Ebay, you will rarely have a problem.
