I searched and couldnt find a thread on this so I thought I would start my own

As some may know I purchased the ebay adapter kit for my truck which came with the adapter and filter for $23 shipped.

I had to modify the adapter to make it fit but it works fine

The main reason I made this thread is to ask, What do you guys think about ebay filters? Are they all looks or do they actually filter out the air. Maybe I should invest in a S&B or K&N filter?

That is the filter I am using

How do these compare in air flow as compared to the K&N? Are there any charts on this filter?

I think eBay filters are trash and you should buy reputable brands. And those aluminum filters are DAMN SMALL!

If your talking about the Rezton filters Husky, they are Stainless steel, not Aluminum, also the size is exactily the same as the conical K&N

Did you honestly notice any big diff from your original KKM filter ?

From that picture they look to only be maybe 4" long.. I have a 7" K&N, and there are MANY different K&N sizes.

you can have a 4" filter and a 7" filter but which flows better? Id rather a 4" filter that flows great than a 7" filter that doesnt flow as good.

What are you using to measure the pic with? :D
My Rezton is 6 in long, cold, at rest

Mine's bigger :D

It just looks small in the pictures and seems odd they don't tell the size.

well he says its 6" so thats enough for me

No one ever answered my question, how does this flow compared to K&N?

No clue.. if it was flow tested, or flowed better, they'd mention it on their site. The selling point with this filter is soap and water cleans it.

Husky, it's a blitz filter, same media, same flow program, glad to hear you can tuck the measuring stick in your sock, been cold out this winter :D

How is anyone supposed to give you any specs on this filter? No one here, or you, nor the seller you bought this from has ANY idea who made it or where their specs (if they have any) are. This is just a cheap, no name filter made to look like a quality prduct.

Is it just as good as a name-brand product? It might just be. Is it a complete piece of crap that is killing your engine? It might just be. No one knows without knowing exactly who made it, and exactly where their testing specs are.

ohhh damn he told you

Sure did, Ignorance can be bliss as the saying go's

Alright as I bet you can imagine I am watching this thread closely. I really want to know what I should do. Spindle have you ever used any other cone filter other than what you have now? If so, what can you say from your own personal experience

Used K&N, Mac clone and Rezton,Dyno numbers show no diff, alot of dust in the inside of the clone filter, do not like the oil program with the K&N, SS mesh is state of the art as filters go at this time
